About Me

Elk River, MN, United States
I have been running for about 20 years and have completed more than 60 marathons (including one in each state) and ultramarathons. In 2011, I ran across MN to raise money for cancer. Now, in 2021, at age 52, I'm going to run and bike across MN to raise money for disabled veterans.

Why Run Across MN?

I have multiple reasons:
  1. To see if I can...I'm pretty sure.
  2. Geat use of vacation.
  3. Raising funds for American Cancer Society.
Why is American Cancer Society so important?  They:
  1. Help you stay well with steps to prevent cancer, along with early detection.
  2. Help you get well, with support through every step.
  3. Find cures by funding and conducting research.
  4. Fight back by working with lawmakers to pass laws to defeat cancer.
  5. Help access care.
Your donation will help with their campaign for More Birthdays.  Read more about it here: http://www.cancer.org/AboutUs/WhoWeAre/morebirthdays
